It is hard to believe but the month of July starts in just a few days. Before you know it we will be celebrating our nation’s birthday with family gatherings, fireworks, and hopefully a wonderful 5k walk in Warrenville.

This Monday, July 4th, the Warrenville Park District will be sponsoring its annual 5k walk/ run. The course chosen for this event is scenic and diverse. Not only will you be walking down the streets of Warrenville, but you will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Illinois Prairie Path.

The event begins at the Warrenville Park District Recreation Center, at 8am sharp. You must register in advance to participate. The registration fee for this event is $25, with all proceeds going to Warrenville Park District Scholarship Fund. You can obtain more information about this event, as well as register, by clicking here.

Start your holiday by supporting this wonderful event.
