Hey all you local runners, head on over to the Westside to help kickoff the annual Harvest Home Fair with the opening one mile race on Thursday September 4th. 6:00pm will start off both the race and the opening parade for the full weekend of events for the fair. Pre-registration is $10 this year, so take a look at www.runningspot.com or www.harvesthomefair.com for further details. The race registration includes opening festivities with Larosa’s pizza and beer, refreshments and door prizes after the race. Proceeds from the race will again be donated to benefit Crossroads Pediatrics West this year.

The race course will start at the intersection of Harrison and Bridgetown, along with the Parade for the Fair, and the finish line will be at North Bend Road in front of Harvest Home Park Fairgrounds. Awards will be given out right after the race to the top overall male and female finishers as well as the top 25 male and female runners. Please note that there will be no 5K race on the last day of the fair this year so take a look at the fair website if you want to get involved in the Harvest Home Fair events this year! Best of luck to all of you runners, and think about benefitting Crossroads Pediatrics!
