September is over. It is getting cooler and cooler day by day. We are heading to the season of fall foliage. Halloween and Thanksgiving day are coming soon. After that Christmas is coming. Towards the end of the year, we are going to have various holidays. Are you ready for holiday decorations ?
For those who love flowers and plants, it is a good time to make beautiful decorations using not only regular flowers but also autumn leaves that are shining and beautiful. You can make the best use of elements such as branches/twigs, pumpkins and other vegetables as well as ordinary fresh elements for the fall season floral decorations.
By way of using shiny autumn leaves, branches and some other vegetables such as pumpkin etc., you can create totally different atmosphere you have never experienced with ordinary type of floral arrangements. In this sense, fall may be the best season to enjoy and appreciate natural beauty through floral decorations.
For the decoration of Thanksgiving day, under mentioned types of floral arrangements can be recommended:
*Parallel arrangement: All elements are vertically arranged and they are designed in parallel each other. You can set up this arrangement in the entry foyer of your house for welcoming your guests invited to your Thanksgiving party. Quite frankly you need a high level of skill to make this arrangement. Therefore it is not recommended for beginners.
*Horizontal table arrangement: This arrangement is horizontally designed so it can be displayed on the spacious table. If your dining table is spacious enough, why not display this gorgeous decoration ?
*Vertical table arrangement: This is arranged in the vertical vase. Due to the shape of this design which is vertically long, you do not need lots of space to display it. You can put it in front of the fireplace or console table in your living room. It is worthwhile for even beginner floral artists to try this type of arrangement.
Parallel arrangements and vertical table arrangements can be made not only for holiday display but also for daily home decorations and regular arrangements such as a birthday party, front desk of hotel and office or cashier counter of restaurant or bank etc. etc. Enjoy making a variety of floral arrangements you like for the coming fall season.
