Get a head start on holiday shopping this year with two special events. The Cat Care Society of Lakewood is having their annual Halloween book sale this Saturday, October 29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the new remodeled Cajun's Closet Thrift Store. Get a great deal on books and even better deals for those brave enough to come in costume. The event features mass market books six for $1, hard covers for $1 each, trade paperbacks two for $1 and children's books for 10 cents.
Check out the newly remodeled store and library and then visit the Cat Care Society next door to find a new holiday feline friend.
Foothills Animal Foundation just announced their inaugural HOWLiday Mart holiday sale. The sale will take place November 12 and 13 at Foothills Animal Shelter. Items for sale include jewelry, children's books, arts and crafts, pet-themed items and much more. Guests are welcome to tour the facility to view homeless pets up for adoption also. All proceeds from the event benefit the animals of Foothills Animal Shelter.
The HOWLiday Mart will take place on Saturday, November 12, from noon to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, November 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shelter located at 580 McIntyre Street in Golden (on the Jefferson County Fairgrounds near the Indiana exit on West 6th Avenue.
