Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber is used to having fans get starstruck upon meeting him, but this time the tables were turned when an awestruck Bieber came face-to-face with NBA legend Michael Jordan in Charlotte, N.C., on Jan. 22.
A stunned Justin tweeted his gratitude at having met the six-time NBA champion to his 33.4 million Twitter followers: "Michael Jordan. that happened. Still pinching myself and grateful for everyday. It all comes from him. #BLESSED"
Justin was in town on the Charlotte leg of his "Believe" tour at the Time Warner Cable Arena when he was introduced to NBA Hall of Famer Jordan, the principal owner of the Charlotte Bobcats basketball team.
Despite his lanky build, Bieber is actually a talented all-around athlete who excels in ice hockey, soccer and basketball. In 2011, Justin was named the Most Valuable Player at the NBA's All-Star celebrity basketball game after scoring eight points, four assists and two rebounds.
More recently, Justin has been making headlines for flashing his buns and his six-pack abs after resolving to pump up his lean 5-foot-7 body. “I’ve been working out in the gym, getting bigger, trying to get sexy for the ladies," he said.
