Stars from 'Modern Family' trapped in an elevator for almost an hour

Last night found three of the delightful stars of the ABC hit series "Modern Family" trapped in an elevator. For more than 45-minutes, fan favorites Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were amongst a crows of 15 in the cramped compartment.

The elevator got stuck at the third floor of the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at the Crown Center. The gang were in Kansas City, Missouri to headline a fundraiser for "Kids Night Out 2013" which benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City.

Rescue workers from the fire department made their way down from the 40th floor to free them; the snap happy celebs entertained themselves by snapping photos and posting them online to their fans.
