Stark Waxing Studio expands candle collection

A full-service waxing studio known for their eyebrow shaping and Brazilians, Stark Waxing Studio was founded by owner and LA native, Paz Stark, in Silver Lake, CA in August 2006. Having now expanded to WeHo, Studio City and NYC, Stark is becoming known for more than just their ouchless bikini waxes - namely body care products (scrubs and oils) and amazing candles inspired by California.

Hand-poured in Los Angeles, Stark's original candles (Silver Lake, Palm Frond, Cactus Flower and Descanso) were all named as an homage to the birthplace of the waxing studio - Los Angeles. With the first collection including crisp, citrusy scents, as well as warm, earthy blends, the five new scents launching this year continue to evoke a uniquely LA vibe.

The summer collection, launching in July, includes:

• Gold Rush: A bracing, verdant scent with notes of sharp green sage, grass, roasted cardamom and basil
• Moonshine: A Boozy, mellow scent with notes of aged bourbon, malt, cherry and butterscotch
• Frontier: A complex summer scent with notes of sweet wild geranium, leather, smoke and oakmoss.

If it's the crisp fall air you're craving, the fall collection launches in October:

• Arroyo: A sultry floral scent with notes of bergamot, sandalwood, jasmine absolute and smoky coriander
• Chaparral: An invigorating, chilly scent with notes of crushed clove, violet, cedarwood and young pine

All of the candles retail for $32 and are available at Stark Waxing Studios as well as online at
