Fans around the world have gathered for day-long launch events celebrating the impending release of the Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm expansion. The events, which are currently taking place at several locations around the world, are also streaming online on the Twitch website.
Players who have already purchased the expansion can pre-download the game, which will unlock at different times depending on the server. Blizzard published a chart of release times for those who are unsure when they can start playing the game.
The next big Heart of the Swarm tournament will take place this weekend at the Major League Gaming Winter Championship in Dallas, Tex. Be sure to check back here during the tournament for recaps of the days' games!
