On the eve of the release of StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, Blizzard Entertainment has decided to kick off the festivities with a launch party stream playing all day.
The stream, titled “StarCraft 2 – Heart of the Swarm Invasion”, will switch up between four different region specific streams as events slowly play out during the day.
During the stream, Blizzard says there will be some fan-made videos presented on the live stream as well as a “King of the Beta” tournament.
The stream is currently playing on Twitch.tv and can be watched here. Be sure to check in on some of the action throughout the day as the stream runs up till the expansion’s launch. Currently hosting the stream are fan favorite StarCraft 2 commentators Sean “day9” Plott and Mike “Husky” Lamond.
StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is the expansion to StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty and will release tomorrow, March 12th, for $39.99 on PC and Mac.
