After Starbuck's short venture in gluten-free foods last year, they will soon be offering several new gluten-free options in participating US stores. These will be products that are pre-packaged, but sold in Starbuck's, similar to the KIND bar that can be found there as of January 12, 2010. Here is a list of snacks:
Food Should Taste Good Chips- Sweet Potato & Multi-Grain
Lucy's Cookies - Sugar, Cinnamon & Chocolate Chip
Sahale Snacks - Nuts & nut blends
Peeled Snacks - Dried fruit with no sugar added
Two Moms in the Raw- Blueberry & Gojiberry Granola (both GF)
Stretch Island Fruit Company-Fruit Leather
Columbus locations can be found through the Starbuck's site. I was just in the location at Powell Rd. & Rt. 23 in Lewis Center and they have "Now serving gluten-free snacks" on the chalkboard out front. Having more gluten-free options available for those on the gluten-free diet will make traveling & busy days easier to get through in a pinch.
