Beautiful Existence lives in Seattle and decided to try an experiment. For an entire year the woman only ate and drank products from the local Starbucks. The experiment got the attention of people around the country as the mother seemed to draw attention that she stuck to the Starbucks diet for a whole year.
According to USA Today on Thursday Starbucks-affiliated drinks and foods, including Roy Street Coffee & Tea, Tazo Tea and Evolution Fresh, cost from $500 to $600 a month with December being over $800.
Living in Seattle, the opportunity to order from the menus of the coffee shop definitely had an advantage. Beautiful Existence (yes that is her legal name) could easily find a nearby location and get what she wanted on her Starbucks diet. However, after a year, it appears she was tired of Starbucks and was glad to eat something else.
While there have been others who only eat from the same location, the most famous food experience was documented in the “Super Size Me” movie. Morgan Spurlock ate only at McDonald's for 30 straight days and he gained 25 pounds. Then, there is Jared Fogle who became famous (and thin) for eating Subway. Luckily the Seattle woman decided a Starbucks diet would be a good fit for her lifestyle, but not too out of touch with calorie counting or nutrients. Perhaps Beautiful Existence will be featured in commercials like Jared Fogle was.
