Starbucks 40th anniversary CD compilation features tracks by three Beatles

A special two-CD set issued for Starbucks' 40th anniversary and now available online features a solo track each from Beatles John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison.

Disc 2 of "Starbucks: The 40th Anniversary Collection" begins with the tracks: Lennon's "Woman," McCartney's "Every Night" and Harrison's "If Not For You."

Other artists on the wide-ranging 40-song set include Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Elvis Costello & the Attractions, Sarah McLachlan, Paul Simon, Marvin Gaye, Wes Montgomery, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, the Buena Vista Social Club, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys and Shelby Lynne.

The set retails for $19.95 and it's available through the Starbucks Store online. It may be more available online than in walk-in stores according to a Starbucks rep. we talked to, though we're told it has been seen in at least one retail store.
