Today Star Wars the Old Republic announced that they are continuing their Cantina Tour, and they are making a stop right here in Chicago! This event allows players in different cities to meet the game developers as well as other players in your area. In the past the Cantina tour has made stops at major cities like New York, Austin, and San Francisco. These events are updated as they go down the list, so unfortunately there is no way to RSVP or plan for the event until the date is closer. They do estimate that they will be here sometime in August, however this is not set in stone.
While this may seem disappointingly far away, it will give fans some time to put together their costumes, brush up on Star Wars trivia, and think of some really good questions to ask the developers. Chicago fans will also have fresh material to ask about since their new expansion (Rise of the Hutt Cartel) is due to launch sometime this spring.
