Ever since Disney bought LucasFilms, there have been a lot of hopes and dreams from "Star Wars" fans across the world. When "Star Wars: Episode VII" was confirmed, one dream was met. Now, another hope may be coming to light as the Inquisitr reported on Jan. 9, 2014, that "Star Wars" spinoffs for both Han Solo and Boba Fett.
Back in Sept. of 2013, Disney confirmed that there would be "Star Wars" spinoffs coming and they would be original origins stories. Since then, fans have been trying to guess exactly who they would be about and rumors believe a few could be two of the biggest names.
Director Joe Schnepp recently told AMC Movie News:
“One of them is Boba Fett,” claimed Schnepp. “It is. I know. I know for a fact. I will never reveal my source, but it is the one written by Lawrence Kasdan.”
For those not familiar with the the name of Lawrence Kasdan, he is the person that wrote "The Empire Strikes Back," "Return of the Jedi," and "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
The Boba Fett film isn't expected to be much of an origin story as it will be a "coming of age" tale as to how he became the bounty hunter that he is.
Now, the rumors of another "Star Wars" spinoff is being passed around and it could be the origin tale of Han Solo aka Harrison Ford. Again, this is not confirmed, but the confirmation of spinoffs has been given and the possibilities are there.
