The "Star Wars" set is being threatened by sand erosion. On April 9, MSN shared the news about how things don't look good for the set that is located in Tunisia. The set of Tatooine looks like it could be sinking into the desert and they want fans to help them out with it.

This has been featured in various "Star Wars" movies and fans also head her to visit it. This is a very big tourist attraction but now it looks like it could end up going away completely. Funds are being raised at this time though to see what they can do to keep it from happening.

They need to raise an extra $45,000 to save the "Star Wars" set. At this time there is already $107,000 set to go toward helping save this set and make sure that it stays around for years to come. You can even get your name engraved at the site if you donate over $1,000.
