Star Wars Day 2014: 'May the fourth be with you'

Star Wars, created by George Lucas, has spun into a galaxy all of its own, and taken the world by force, (pun intended) forming a celebration that has become the biggest phenomenon in pop culture ever, according to a report in the International Business Times on May 3. The fourth of May was chosen as the unofficial ‘Star Wars Day’ holiday date because, May the fourth sounds strikingly close to the series popular phrase, “May the Force be with you” which Star Wars fans have now adapted to, “May the fourth be with you.”

There is still one burning unanswered question that still remains…What will Princess Leia’s hair look like today? Carrie Fisher’s answer in a recent interview with the Express News replied, “I’d like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again – but with white hair. I think that would be funny.” Sounds good, but for now we will just have to wait and see.
