Comicon may be the mecca for geeks with it's bells, whistles and scantily dressed cosplayers, but George Lucas proved to Star Wars fans that the Force is still with him by revealing that all six Star Wars films will be coming to Blu-Ray.

The Star Wars creator made the announcement during a live interview with Jon Stewart at the Star Wars Celebration V fan convention in Orlando. Set to debut in Fall of 2011, the boxed set is said to contain both Star Wars trilogies while "utilizing the highest possible picture and audio presentation, along with extensive special features – including documentaries, vintage behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, retrospectives and never-before-seen footage from the Lucasfilm archives." according to the Lucasfilm's press release.

In addition to the big news, the fan fest which ran from Aug. 12-15th featured Star Wars related panels, presentations as well as a showcase of fan created animation and films that were judged by George Lucas himself.
