On February 15th, 2013, an asteroid descended from the galaxy to the Earth in Russia, caused severe damages in hundreds of buildings, and injured hundreds of people. No one knows the reason of the falling of the asteroid in Russia specifically. It looks like war from the sky to the Earth. As a matter of fact, Russian scientists who grew in one of highly developed countries in the world could not prevent the asteroid from hitting their homeland. The asteroid descended like a big bomb, making a huge big ball of fire deep in the ground.
The Soviet Union had a long history of state atheism, and it was known as Soviet-style secularism. The freedom for different types of religions was limited there. Many people there preferred the atheist style, and they did not recognize God.
In conversation with an atheist, he said that he believes that nature is his higher power, and he recognized only the theory of evolution. Someone asked him, “What will he say if he is in a drowning ship in the ocean? Is he going to say please save me, nature, or please save me, God?” The atheist could not answer.
A similar conversation happened thousands of years ago between the prophet Abraham and a disbeliever in God. Abraham said, “God can bring back to life and can make creatures die naturally,” and the disbeliever said that he could do the same. Abraham replied, “God made the sun rise from east, could you make it rise from west?” The man could not answer.
In fact, there is an Absolute One God who created the Earth and the Heavens and everything in between, such as the skies without columns. God created the galaxies and more, such as unseen creatures. Almighty God has the Higher Power. People differ in explaining the meaning of God, and some confused people think that he was a holy man or woman. Glory of God, He is not begotten, and nothing in the world is as Him.
The believers in God know that there are punishments during life and in the afterlife according to their sins. They believe in the Day of Judgment, and the worst sin is worshiping something or someone else other than God.
The lesson from the asteroid is for everyone in the world because it shows the Almighty power of our Creator, who created the Heavens, the Earth, and everything in between.
