Brent Spiner, known to Star Trek: The Next Generation fans as "Data," has been tweeting up a storm all week long over Howard Stern's stalled out contract negotiations with Sirius XM.

Spiner's series of Stern-related tweets began Tuesday, when he told his million plus followers:
"I shall spend the day in contemplation. I shall look inside and ask myself, "Will life be worth living if Howard Stern goes off the air?"
After arguing back with his a few anti-Howard Stern followers for a while, Spiner then posted:
"If they don't make a deal with Howard Stern, they will be making a Sirius mist...oh, never mind."
and then shortly afterwards:
"Sorry about the grammatical mistake. I was taking a nap when I wrote it. Nonetheless, Howard Stern is the best interviewer in the business."
If you think these statements seem pretty emotional for android, consider the fact that Howard Stern has only eight shows left on his contract with Sirius XM. The final Howard Stern Show is currently scheduled to air on Thursday, December 16th.

Stern has been offering daily apologies to his audience for the lack of resolution on his contract, but claims that he truly doesn't know if the situation will be resolved before the final show.
If that happens, Howard Stern Show fans may have to hope Mel Karmazin scores a positronic brain transplant to add a little common sense to the situation.
