According to Fox News Latino on Aug. 23, "Star Trek" star Zoe Saldana and future role as Gamora in "Guardians of the Galaxy" announced that her production company, Saldaña Production, will partner with Lionsgate to invest in the Latino community. This new deal will involve developing new content geared towards the Hispanic market.
“We look forward to a fruitful and productive relationship with Pantelion".
That being said, Lionsgate Pantelion Films studios will start production involving both Latin-based TV and Film projects partnered along with Saldana and her sister Cisely who both run Saldaña Production. That being said, Pantelion films is the first Latino-based Hollywood studio focused on the Hispanic community and is currently hiring its staff.
Saldana will also be starring as the "deadliest woman in the galaxy" in the up and coming James Gunn film, "Guardians of the Galaxy", as the introduction into phase two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She also got her career started in ballet and a result her energetic demeanor helped wedge her way into what would be her success in the acting profession.
