The pilot episode is fully entitled "Star Trek Equinox: The Night of Time". The pilot will actually star previous actors from the known series such as John Savage from "Star Trek: Voyager", Gary Lockwood who will be reprising his role from "Star Trek: The Next Generation", and Blanca Blanco.

The pilot episode is written by Camren T. Burton and John Savage and also film and model maker, special effects makeup artist, VFX artist Steve Neill has been brought onto the project as well. Also, former WWE wrestler Matt Striker will be playing the part of a Romulan commander.

Steve Neill also posted a rather in-depth behind-the-scenes footage of the production on YouTube that gives specific insight on how the film is going to be made. A portion of the video shows Neill not only giving a commentary but also applying make up to the actors. He seems to wear many hats during this production.
