During the Cast’s visit, fans will be able to acquire special ComicCon-only perks (including autographs, T-Shirts, plushies and some very cool Star Trek: Equinox swag and collectibles) as well as have the opportunity to meet the cast — who will, as can be expected, be appearing in full dress Trek uniforms, right on the Bridge of the Enterprise D. Other perks include the chance to snag one of the five available slots to have lunch with Hollywood Legend John Savage. According to all reports Savage is over-the-top excited that he is finally appearing at the Con, and somewhat astonished that he has never before been a guest at the Con.

The Cast and crew will be appearing both on the bridge of Enterprise D (Booth # 3631) as well as at the Star Trek Equinox Booth (#5611). Then there will be a very special GoFundMe After Party after the convention with more photo opportunities and autograph session, where fans can actually get in on the crowd funding for the TV show. For his part, Savage is very excited about not only appearing in the TV show, but in attending the Convention itself.

The film’s premise is that some 15 years after the destruction of the USS Equinox (at some time in 2393) Captain Rudy Ransom, who was beamed from his doomed ship by the Krotownans, and has been held prisoner in the Delta quadrant for crimes against the race including trespassing in Krowtownan space and the deaths of Krowtownan Crew members. Manages to return to the Alpha Quadrant some 30,000 light years away. He has but a single chance to escape, through a wormhole that will engulf anything and everything within 500 miles of its massive gravity including a distress signal or small probe. With the distress signal sent 125 years into the past, two inhabitants of the alpha quadrant intercept the distress signal: a Federation Medical Space Station and a Klingon battle cruiser. The Klingon Empire with a thirst for advanced military knowledge, launch their Battle cruisers to retrieve this knowledge from the mind of Captain Ransom and destroy anything in their way.

In addition to Savage and Lockwood reprising their roles as Captain Rudy Ransom and Fleet Captain Gary Mitchell, othe cast members include, Blanca Blanco as Vulcan officer LT T'Lexa, former WWE star Matt Striker as a Romulan Commander, Samantha Lockwood (Lockwood’s daughter) who portrays Nurse Christine Roddenberry and Tommy Denucci (Army of the Damned) as Lt. Magnus.
