Star of Disney-Pixar's BRAVE Pays Tribute to Courageous Kids

Taking time out from her on-ice debut in Disney On Ice Presents Rockin' Ever After…

WHO:

Merida, the red-headed sharpshooter from Disney-Pixar's BRAVE, along with Disney On Ice friends.

WHAT:

…will award Certificates of Bravery to hospitalized youngsters at Rush Children's Hospital. Among other gifts, young patients will be presented with their own wig versions of Merida's trademark unruly red locks, reminding them of the power of passion in overcoming adversity, and ceremonial bow and arrow sets, to summon their fighting spirit.

WHEN:

1:30 - 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013

WHERE:

Rush Children's Hospital at Rush University Medical Center, 1620 W. Harrison, Chicago.

Valet media parking is available at the Harrison entrance.
