Star Ocean: The Last Hope cover.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope is officially heading to the Playstation 3. The latest Famitsu issue reveals that the previously Xbox 360 exclusive game will be ported to the Playstation 3 as Star Ocean: The Last Hope International.
The upcoming title is more than a straight port as it will contain new characters, better menus, improved targeting during battles, and dual-language support for English and Japanese in addition to subtitles for multiple languages. Star Ocean: The Last Hope International will be released in Japan on February 4, 2010.
Although Square Enix hasn’t confirmed a North American release yet, a recent GameFly listing might have leaked their plans. Here is the scan of ad from the upcoming game:

Just out of curiosity, what is the source of this magazine photograph? I only ask because I went to the official website (listed on the left page) and there is no mention of a PS3 version at all. The 360 release date (eariler this year) is printed clearly on the front though. It seems strange that they would have an ad printed in magazines and not have the site updated with this info.
Especially when that link is provided in the advertisement... That's usually there so people who see the ad can go there and get more information.

SO4 was never stated to be exclusive to the Xbox 360, so we all knew this was going to come sooner or later. I heard there were bugs in the Xbox360 version, and I hope those will be addressed. Think of it as a "Star Ocean 4: Director's Cut"!

If it was really fake, then someone REALLY went out of their way to do as much as was shown there.
Once again devs are using the Xbox for beta-testing

once again Xbox 360 is the beta console.
But these guys need to add something new apart from changes, we need new character or something.

cool i was expecting the last remnant first. This is definitely the better game though. I hope it releases in NA soon after because I might get it
