Star Lanes Polaris offers spring-break bowling special

Star Lanes Polaris is offering a spring-break special through April 18, allowing guests ages 12 and younger to bowl, eat and play games for $15.

The package, available weekdays 11 a.m.-3 p.m., includes a kid's meal menu item, game of bowling with shoes, and a $5 game card.

Star Lanes, which opened in 2012, is a 20-lane boutique bowling alley located near Polaris Fashion Place at 8655 Lyra Dr., Columbus. It has an upscale lounge with billiards tables and a DJ booth. There's also an arcade, where players can win e-tickets redeemable for an assortment of prizes.

The Point restaurant offers made-from-scratch dishes that purport to transcend traditional bowling-alley fare, including fancy finger food like skewered coconut shrimp and bacon-topped deviled eggs.

Kid's menu items include classics like cheese pizza, quesadillas, mac and cheese, and chicken bites, as well as a roasted turkey sandwich and a Caesar salad.

On Wednesday nights, kids eat free with the purchase of a regular-priced adult meal.
