It is amazing that with all the money that taxpayers put into school systems; that our teachers still have to spend over $400 of their own money each year in school supplies for themselves and students. Fortunately, with the start of the new school year Staples announced yesterday that they will hold 'Teacher Appreciation Weekend” between August 1st and August 3th 2014, with offers of discounts, coupons and special savings. Teachers will be able to purchase pencils, glue sticks, tissues, art supplies, and more for less. Teachers who are enrolled in Staples Teacher Rewards program can receive a coupon for 25 percent off any purchase of $10 or more. The coupon can be redeemed during the Teacher Appreciation Event. During the event, teachers will also receive a free academic “Calendar of Savings” that will give teachers, teacher-specific offers each month for school supply savings all year.
Teachers who have not signed up yet for Teacher Rewards can sign up at any Staples store from August 1-3, and receive 25 percent back in rewards during this special Teacher Appreciation event. This special offer do not include technology items and are exclusively for teacher.
