For most of the season, the Stanford Cardinal remained one of the highest ranked teams in the nation. Even after losing to both Utah and USC, they remained in the Top 5, proving the respect they had built up with fans and voters. However, by the end of the year, the Michigan State Spartans moved ahead of them in the polls, thanks to an impressive one-loss season. According to ESPN on Jan. 1, analysis Lee Corso picked Michigan State to win the Rose Bowl, despite formerly picking Stanford to win the national title. Here is how fans can follow the Rose Bowl live stream for the big Big Ten vs. Pac-12 game.

  • Date: Jan. 1

  • TV: ESPN
  • Radio: XM 84
  • Live Stream: WatchESPN

Stanford was, at one time, one of the top contenders for this year's national title, but they stumbled against non-ranked teams, killing their chances. Despite that, they still won the Pac-12 title and made it to the prestigious Rose Bowl, where the Pac-12 battles the Big Ten every season.

Their opponents are the surprising one-loss Michigan State Spartans. The Big Ten was disrespected for much of the season, with the undefeated Ohio State Buckeyes causing people to question the conferences strength. However, Michigan State beat the Buckeyes in the Big Ten Championship and now head into the Rose Bowl as the favorites to win teh game.

The Rose Bowl live stream coverage kicks off at 5 p.m. EST.
