A player who committed to Stanford last month is rated among the top 10 passers of the girls basketball summer circuit.

HoopGurlz ranks Toni Kokenis of Hindsale, Ill., the seventh-best passer of the summer crew.  Kokenis (No. 11 in photo at right), who will be a senior at Hindsale Central High School this year, is a combo guard who usually plays the shooting-guard spot, but has point-guard passing skills.   She was the second player from the class of 2010 to give a verbal commitment to Stanford.

Also, Jeanne Kenney of Baton Rouge, La., who has Stanford among the five schools she is considering, ranks 11th on the HoopGurlz list of top passers and ranks 10th in its rankings of ballhandlers.

Players who will be high school sophomores, juniors and seniors this season were included in the rankings.
