The act of continuous thought, tempting the mind’s ability to understand clearly, is from the works of evil. Remember to say “In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion (Psalms 71:1)”. “For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints (1 Corinthians 14:33)”.

There will be times when you will get confused, with unsettling feelings of uncertainty. This could occur even when you feel you are of sound mind, and that nothing is interfering with your life in any way. It is the moment that you will least expect to be tempted and even swayed from your typical mindset.

People will walk onto your path and make efforts to lead you amiss, far from God and into a dark, thick forest. You will see clear, blue skies one day, and on the second day, you will see nothing but clouds and darkness. What do you do when this happens? That which does not ensue today, most likely will transpire tomorrow. It is better to be aware and prepared than caught off-guard.

It can be very difficult to see those around you doing the things you do not do. Sinful temptations that will incessantly possess your mind and body in attempts to get you to change all the things in which you believe whole-heartedly. Be strong, ask God for the strength to stay according to His Will and the not give in to the will of man.

In Romans 12:17-21: “Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good”.

Then in Proverbs 10:9: “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out”. Remember beloved, that it is only through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we have any hope in this life.

Many will come, while others will only linger. Even those who linger eventually disappear out of sight. Do not depend on humanity but only on God. Our Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is the only shoulder we should lean on. Remember to pray and repent. Forgive your brothers, even when they do not forgive you.
