In a publication made by Cinema Blend on Jan. 7, 2013, it noted that with all the famous Marvel movies that even included Joss Whedon's famous "Avengers" and had won awards, even Whedon couldn't match up with the pop culture icon of Stan Lee.
This iconic man is well known by the comic fan community, and has made his way into cameo appearances in most of the Marvel movie films, whether it be saving someone from the Green Goblins' shenanigans or reminding Peter Parker that someone can make a difference, his face can be pretty much be recognized anywhere. One could say he could play any part in those films, with any kind of appropriate dialogue and amuse his fans with delight. One could say he's the chameleon of Marvel cameos.
In the 1960s, he had co-created a lot of the well known comic characters and had suffered through lawsuits and other trials and tribulations in his rise to fame. He even survived long enough to see his creations make it to the big screen and had been immortalized within the movies.
Recently, there has been a Marvel movie mash-up with all the appearances Stan Lee had made in the movies, including "The Incredible Hulk" T.V. show.
