In the 1960s, he had co-created a lot of the well known comic characters and had suffered through lawsuits and other trials and tribulations in his rise to fame. He even survived long enough to see his creations make it to the big screen and had been immortalized within the movies.

Recently, there has been a Marvel movie mash-up with all the appearances Stan Lee had made in the movies, including "The Incredible Hulk" T.V. show.

Though, Stan Lee isn't the only one who has made appearances in his own movie, in fact Alfred Hitchcock probably started the trend in his own movie cameos.
