Tuesday, September 1st, was a big day in the Stampin' Up world.
Word had leaked earlier on that a change was coming to Stampin' UP's Independent Demonstrator Agreement, but the facts were released on the morning of Tuesday, September 1st to Canadian and US demonstrators.
There are those in support of the changes, but the overwhelming majority of people being vocal about the changes has been negative. Many feel that their personal rights have been infringed upon. Other demonstrators feel that it was time that Stampin' Up made the changes.
Demonstrators and customers alike have been chiming in on conversations on message boards, Facebook pages, Twitter and personal blogs.
Since the news came out, Stampin' Up has slightly revised the terms of the agreement. While many feel that Stampin' Up is finally listening to their outcries and are starting to reevaluate their original stance, they still feel like it's not enough of a revision.
To check out the dialog on blogs and forums, here's a list of blogs and forums that have been keeping dialog on the changes, as well as personal view points on how this change affects demonstrators:

WOW! That's awful! Hopefully they'll come up with a better agreement that allows their demonstrators more freedom. There's plenty of room for everyone to play nicely. What a shame.
