This spring, get ready for Showcase 61, a new contemporary music series featuring well known performers as well as emerging artists in a club-like venue at Stamford's Palace Theater Best of all, this new music series will be free of charge! All performances begin at 8 p.m.

Stamford Palace Theatre is positioning itself as a young, robust and diverse performing environment and hopes that these free performances will help to generate new audiences region wide. Organizers hope that this venue will be so successful that the Palace will become the "Rockwood Music Hall" of Fairfield County.

The venue will feature the music of national and emerging artists as well as special lighting, custom-designed table cloths and specialty cocktails as well as a full compliment of unique brews from the Berkshire Brewing Company. There will even be a food app available for those that want to order snacks from Station Eats.

To date, on March 7, Imported NYC: The Boston Boys are scheduled to perform and on April 3, CTI Media will present the CT Music Awards kick off party that will feature Little Ugly, recently awarded "Best Band in CT."

On April 25, The Rooks, a New York City band will perform and on May 15, Soundtracks Live will present the Music of the American Hustle which is an all star band of nationally recognized touring musicians.

Parking for all events is only $3 and is available across the street from the Palace Theater at Landmark Square Garage.
