Hot off their first real on-screen team-up in "The Expendables 2," Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger will be together again in "The Tomb," to be directed by Mikael Håfström ("The Rite"). EW.com reports that Schwarzenegger will play an imprisoned convict who counsels fellow inmates. Stallone will play a prison security expert who has to find a way out of a perfect prison--that he created himself.
Håfström will direct from a screenplay by Miles Chapman, who wrote the direct-to-video actioner "Road House 2: Last Call." Chapman also wrote "Protection," currently in pre-production. "The Tomb" was rewritten by Jason Keller, who has screenplay credits for "Machine Gun Preacher" and "Mirror Mirror."
"The Tomb" is scheduled for release sometime in 2013. No other casting has been announced.
