The writer has received notice on October 31 that Group I winner Best of the the Bests is on the move. Presently he has been standing Park Stud in Ontario Canada. Best of the Bests is headed to Peaceful Valley Farms in Alberta, Canada where he will continue to stand at stud for the 2014 breeding season.
Best of Bests is a 16-year-old son of Machiavellian out of Sueboog by Darshaan. At Peaceful Valley Farms, Best of Bests is stand at an introductory stud fee of $2,000 (stands and nurses contract) during breeding season 2014. Peaceful Valley is planning to gives special consideration to mares that are stakes victors or stakes-placed mares.
With Darshaan in the pedigree and such a good broodmare sire, Best of the Bests is noted to come from a “family of families” according to Anthony Bilotta, who has an owning interest in Peaceful Valley Farms.
The facility in Alberta, Canada is run by Jack and Linda Johnson. The Johnsons will make certain the Best of the Bests and all visiting mares will be made exceptionally comfortable.
He is a good opportunity for the western breeders because has a strong Native Dancer background.
Best of the Bests is an Irish-bred stallion. His Canadian Stakes winner Good Better Best recently won the Elgin Stakes at Woodbine in August
