Jennifer Capriati, 37-year-old former tennis star, accepted a plea deal after being charged with the battery and stalking of her ex-boyfriend, Ivan Brannan, and had those stalking and battery charges dropped, according to a Jan. 13 announcement from the Palm Beach County state attorney's office.

Fox News reported that a spokesperson for the state attorney's office, Mike Edmondson, made that announcement today.

The charges, both misdemeanors, were dropped after Capriati agreed to complete “30 hours of community service and four hours of anger management counseling.” Reportedly, Capriati has already completed her community service and her anger management counseling.

''Those are standard conditions for a deferred prosecution,'' Edmondson said.

The alleged Valentine’s Day 2013 battery and stalking incidents of Capriati’s former boyfriend and FSU golfer, Ivan Brannan, were reported to have occurred at a Palm Beach gym.

Gossip Extra reported that Capriati and Brannan were having an argument at the Oxygen Health and Fitness gym which evolved into Capriati striking her former beau with clenched fists several times.

One of the gym’s yoga instructors broke up the fracas, which is when “Brannan, 28, ran into the locker room for cover and called 911.” The yoga instructor told police that “Capriati definitely struck Brannan.”

Capriati left the scene but was stopped not too far away from the gym by the police who ended up letting her go for lack of a warrant.

During the course of the investigation into Capriati, her ex-boyfriend claimed that the former tennis star called him at his place of employment more than 100 times in one day.

Jennifer Capriati is a former World No. 1 professional tennis player and the winner of three women's singles championships in Grand Slam tournaments. She made her professional tennis debut in 1990 when she was 13-years-old.
