Valentine 2012 Celebrations in Atlanta
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the countdown is on to give the perfect gift that says “I Love You!” loud and clear. As you scan the contents in the jewelers case at the mall or fight the crowds in the aisles of your local superstore, keep in mind that the gift of special memories of time spent together will go so much further than a heart-shaped box of chocolates the size of Texas or an enormous stuffed gorilla wearing a t-shirt that reads “I’m Bananas For You!” The great news is, there is no shortage of memory-making locales and venues in Atlanta!

In the event that you live a little further north of the city, you might want to purchase tickets to the second round of Atlanta performances at the Arena at Gwinnett Center February 23-26.
Of course you can always create your own evening of romance by combining one of Atlanta’s most romantic eateries with an overnight stay at one of the city’s most romantic hotels. Some great ideas for dinner reservations include Aria on East Paces Ferry, La Grotta on Peachtree Road, Nikolai’s Roof in the Hilton Atlanta, Ecco on 7th Street, and Wisteria on North Highland Avenue. As far as romantic Atlanta hotels, it’s tough to beat The Four Seasons Hotel on 14th Street, the Georgian Terrace Hotel on Peachtree Street, The Mansion on Peachtree, or The Shellmont Inn Bed & Breakfast on Piedmont Avenue.
