St. Peter's School in Belleville graduates Eighth Graders in June 6 Commencement

St. Peter's School on in Belleville, located at 155 William St., graduated the 2014 class of eighth graders on June 6.

The event was to feature church edlers, including the Pastor, Fatherr. Ivan Sciberras; the Parochial Vicar, Father. Wojciech B. Jaskowiak, Father-In-Residence Mark O’Connell, Father Giovanni Rizzo; Deacons, including Rev. Mr. Archibald L. Mabini, Mr. Julio Roig and Mr. Guillermo J. Valladares, officials said.
Scheduled to be on had were Elementary School Principal Phyllis A. Sisco; Parish Catechetical Coordinator Lisa A. Melillo; Director of Music: Mr. John Christian Colaneri; Parish Secretary Vilma Orejola and Business Manager Linda Makofka, according to church officials.
Invited to attend were Parish Trustees Nancy Adessa, Thaddeus Rajnes, and Pastoral Council President Gary Hinton, officials said.

The church has mass on Saturdays at 5:30 and 7, 8, 10 and 11:30 a.m. on Sundays
The Lord’s Day: Saturday Eve: 5:30 p.m.
Sunday: 7, 8:30 10, 11:30 a.m.,

A mass is held at 1 p.m. on Sundays in Spanish, officials said.

On weekdays, masses are schedule at 9 a.m. daily.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday there are 7 p.m. masses.

Also on weekdays there is an 8 a.m. mass in the Retreat House Chapel, and also one at 8 a.m. on Saturday, according to officals.

The church holds Infant Baptisms in Spanish on the second Sunday of each month at 2:30 p.m., officials said.

Infant Baptisms in English are scheduled for each fourth Sunday of each month at 2:30 p.m., according to officials.

Parents must register by calling the Rectory at least one month in advance, officials said.

Baptism Instructions are held the week before the Baptism.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is held each Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. or anytime at the Rectory as requested by an an appointment with a priest, officials said.

The church also performs Christian marriages, according to officials.
