Here is a cute idea for a Fabric Wreath, that you can have made up in time for St. Patrick's Day. It is cute, very easy, and can be made for any Holiday.
Items that you will need;
Fabrics in different color Greens and Whites (I used 1 yard each of 3 diffrent fabric colors)
Scissors or Rotary cutter
Cutting Mat (if using a rotary cutter)
Green or White wide Ribbon
Ruler
Wire Hanger
The first thing you will need to do is pull the straight bottom of the hanger down and form a circle, make it as round as you can. Set aside.
Next you will want to cut your fabric, this is where you will need the ruler. You will be cutting the fabric in strips. You can make them any size you want, but I have found that 1 inch wide X 6 inches long works well for me. You can hand cut them using Scissors or using a Rotary Cutter and Mat makes this go much faster, because you are going to need a lot of fabric strips.
Once you have all of your strips cut, you will get your wire hanger that has been made into a circle. Start to tie the strips in a simple knot. (You want to tie the fabric with the knot in the middle leaving tails on both sides). This is what creates the bulk on the wreath. I start at the bottom and work my way up each side. You can be creative as you like. Your creativity is only hampered by your imagination. Have fun with it. Once you have covered all of the wire (making it as full as you like) with your fabric strips, tie a big Green or White bow at the top of the hanger. This will cover the top of the wire. Fluff out your wreath, you can turn the top of the wire hanger or leave it. It will all depend on where you are hanging your wreath. Enjoy
