The Celtic Swell Irish Pub is adding to Seattle’s St. Patty fun with a costume contest this Saturday. What makes this family friendly costume party extra fun is that it is for both the two and four legged family members!
All ages are encouraged to dress themselves, and their pets, in their best, unique and/or silly St. Patrick’s Day attire and join in the fun. Win some amazing prizes from many of the area’s favorite local businesses. Don’t forget to capture the festive family by mugging it up in the Swell’s free photo booth.
Sat. March 16 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Participation in the contest, parade and St. Pat’s fun is free with 100% of the donations go the Seattle Humane Society.

Having their own four legged family members, Celtic Swell owner Gareth Hughes says the costume contest and the cause felt like a natural fit for their pub.
This year marks our 9th annual Paddy’s celebration so we wanted to try something a little different! I can’t think of a better way to get the entire family in on the fun of St. Paddy’s day and give back to invaluable community organizations like the Seattle Humane Society who work tirelessly to promote positive change. Judging from the tremendous positive response we’ve received already, I’m confident this will become a cherished family tradition for years to come
