As much as the Irish like their stews, corned beef and ale, they also love their desserts.

The Chocolate Whiskey cake is a moist cake full of chocolate, raisins with a hint of whiskey flavor.

Irish Tea Cake is a delicious dessert served with coffee or hot tea.

Bailey’s Brownies


  • 1 stick butter (unsalted)
  • 2-1/2 squares baking chocolate
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ c. Irish cream liqueur (Bailey’s)


Melt butter and baking squares in a microwave safe bowl. In the mixing bowl, cream melted butter and chocolate mixture. Add in sugar and vanilla; beat until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add in eggs, beating one at a time. Add flour and stir just until combined. Stir in Bailey’s.

Pour into a greased 9” x 13” baking dish. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until just barely done. [Recipe from]
