St Patrick’s Day is upon us again and some of you went out last weekend, but the real parties will be on Thursday March 17, 2011. Denver has always been a city that has great events and shows and because everyone is Irish on St Patrick’s Day, and no one parties quite like the Irish, it is guaranteed to be another awesome celebration this year. Here are some of the events this year.

Colorado Celtic band The Indulgers will make their rounds throughout the day this Thursday playing at not only Fado Irish Pub but also Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Pub. They will be playing at 2pm and at 7pm at Fado before they head over to Scruffy Murphy’s to play another show at 10pm. The first Fado show is open to all ages but the second will be 21+ and cover charge is $10. The late show at Scruffy Murphy’s will be free and 21+. The Indulgers are sure to get you in the Irish Spirit.

Moe’s Original BBQ will have their own St. Patrick’s Day Party with bands Calling Out West, Mr. Right and The Say-So Crazies. With their show line-up and the best bar-be-que food around, you’ll definitely enjoy yourself. The show starts at 9pm, is 16+ and costs $5. They might even have green beer for those of age.

Ziggies will not only have a show for you to see, but will also feed you traditional corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day. Bill McKay of Leftover Salmon and friends will be playing a live show at the North Denver venue while you eat. Ziggies will also have draft beer specials as well. The show starts at 8pm, costs $5 and is 21+. Get dressed up in green and head up to Ziggies.
