St. Patrick’s Day events in the Buffalo area

Old Neighborhood St. Patrick’s Parade – Saturday, March 16th at noon, winding through South Park Ave., Smith St., Elk St., Hamburg St., and O’Connell Ave. Following the parade, a traditional Irish “hooley” will take place at the Valley Center, located at 93 Leddy St. in Buffalo, from 1 to 6 p.m. Find out more at www.thevalleycenter.com.

Buffalo St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Sunday, March 17th on Delaware Ave. in Buffalo at 2 p.m. The annual mass will be celebrated by Bishop Richard J. Malone at Saint Joseph’s Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. before the line up for the parade. Get more information at www.buffalostpatricksdayparade.com.

Williamsville Business Association St. Patrick’s Week – from Thursday to Sunday, March 14th through 17th, numerous Village of Williamsville-based restaurants will have Irish dancers, musicians and themed lunch, dinner and drink specials. The Irishman Pub and Eatery will have a tent in their parking lot beginning Thursday for many of its festivities, and Parings Wine Bar, the Eagle House, Sorrentino’s, Prosit, Milos, Sweet Jenny’s, Cabaret Wine Café, the Glen Park Tavern, the Creekview, Pizza Plant and Applewood Café, will have specials all week long.
