It’s that time again. Shamrocks, Leprechauns, and green everything is everywhere you turn. That’s right it’s St. Patrick’s Day!!! Even though the, Irish holiday that has become a US national drinking holiday, falls on a Monday this year you can still go out and have some fun. Just remember to drink responsibly and have a designated sober driver. Drum Roll Please……..

CSI Theater Department Presents:

Antigone is a play that takes place at the end of the Civil war. It is about three brothers , two of which are killed why trying to obtain power. After their death their Uncle becomes King and orders one brother to be given a state funeral, and the other to remain unburied. This was a sign to would-be traitors. The tale unfolds with death and power struggles which are placed to symbolically remind you of today’s political struggles. The play is written in a modern context in the ruins of a modern city, and uses contemporary language.

Tickets are $8.00 for adults

$6.00 for seniors, high school students and under

Free for CSI students

Oakley Valley Arts Councils “The 39 Steps”

The 39 Steps is a comedy play. The story is about a group called The 39 Steps that is on a manhunt for a man who recently found a little too much excitement in his boring life. He meets a woman with an accent claiming to be a spy. Soon after his new acquaintance is murdered, which ensues the nationwide manhunt by The 39 Steps.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade Cancelled for Twin Falls

Normally the City of Twin Falls has an annual St. Patrick’s Day parade but due to the dangerously high winds today the parade has been cancelled. The Parade was scheduled for 12 PM today and no rescheduling has been announced. O’Dunkens will no longer have outside music but invites all disappointed people to come inside for some St. Patrick’s Day spirits, but you must be 21 or older.

O’Dunken’s is located on the corner of Main St and Shoshone St in Twin Falls

Pioneer Club

Hurry in and get FREE Corned Beef and Cabbage starting at 1 PM while supplies last. The Pioneer Club recently added to the bar making an additional 50 seats, new electronic steel dart boards, and big screen TVs. They will also have weekday happy hour from 3-6 PM featuring well drinks at $2.50 and beers at $2.25 each.
