St. Patrick's Day in Austin

March 17th is a time for celebration.  It is a great Irish pastime in celebrating their Saint Patrick when lent would be waived for all to celebrate by drinking, eating meat and having a good time.  Well, this has become part of the American way as well.  A time where we celebrate in green with green drinks, brats, and laughter.  In Austin, St. Patrick's Day landed in the middle of their SXSW festival, and only made the sunny day that much more fun.  Green crowded the interior of Sixth street while local bars like Shakespeare's were serving drinks with green dye.  There were even Leprechaun footprints that you could follow down the road.
Mini leprechauns and gold coins, music filling the air, and with the sun shining, the 2010 St. Patrick's Day was a perfect day.
