Happy spring! Well, almost. As the snow was just falling here in South Jersey a couple days ago (then we were blessed with a sunny weekend), the spring season is coming near; and with the spring season also comes wedding season.
Before the official start of the new, awaited season we celebrate an Irish holiday that many hold dear to their hearts; Saint Patrick's Day. This year St. Patty's Day falls on a Sunday. How many of you are having a St. Pat's themed wedding that weekend?
With two weeks to the date, many couples are already finished with their planning process, however there are still some additions that can be made to your venue. Want to have a themed photo session? Bring some props (your coordinator or photographer may be able to assist) with you to create a fun, green memory. Some suggestions would be to get green boas, leprechaun hats, green balloons, Irish princess tiaras, kilts or anything fun, green and filled with shamrocks. If you are having a photo booth at your reception, bring the props back for your guests to enjoy as well. Have you chosen your favors? If not, a fun, lucky idea is to buy little black pots and fill them with gold (chocolate) coins. Already have the favors? These coins make a great addition to the tables as an added feature/decor/favor.
