Last month there was quite a deal on flights to Barcelona, Spain. And what a perfect time to get out of St. Louis and into some warmer weather. But now St. Louis is experiencing some unseasonably warm weather, and there haven’t been too many complaints about it. In fact, we aren’t the only location experiencing warmer winter temperatures. Ireland has been experiencing roughly the same phenomena, just with a little more rain.

Dublin has much to offer. From museums to churches to historic landmarks, there is something for just about everyone.
Warm up, both inside and out, with a triple distilled whiskey at the Old Jameson Distillery. Or grab a pint at the Guinness Storehouse, the location of the original brewer. Those who participate in the tour get a free pint.
Trinity College Dublin is another wonderful visit. Not only is the location absolutely breathtakingly beautiful with its cobblestone paths and lush green landscaping, it is the richest in history, being the country’s oldest university. Visitors can stop in to view the famous Book of Kells exhibit at the Old Library on campus, as well as take in the marble and oak views of shelf after shelf of some of Ireland’s oldest books.
Lastly, be sure to spend at least one night in a local pub. Irish hospitality and bright spirit is something travelers don’t want to miss out on. Not to mention the music is intoxicating, so don’t stop in unless the music is live and authentic. The trick to finding the best pub is by getting a review from a local resident.
