St. Louis Science Center teaches healthy habits with Delta Dental Theatre

The St. Louis Science Center will host one of the hottest kid shows in town on Saturday, February 18, 2012.  Delta Dental Theatre will visit the St. Louis Science Center for a presentation called Dinosaur Doings.

Delta Dental Theatre is well known across St. Louis for the fun, educational theater shows they bring to area elementary schools.  The show at the St. Louis Science Center will bring some of the same elements from the school shows, while changing it up enough that kids will still enjoy the presentation.

The underlying theme of Delta Dental's shows is always learning good dental habits, such as proper tooth brushing technique and how to eat healthy foods that protect and nourish our teeth.  Delta Dental Theatre takes healthy habits to whole, new, humorous heights though.  Their cast of silly characters and fun storylines keep kids watching, interacting and learning.

On February 18th, Sam the Smile-O-Saurus and the Delta Dental P.A.N.D.A. Bear will visit the St. Louis Science Center.  Children are invited to bring their old toothbrush in exchange for a new, light-up toothbrush.  Also, there will be a contest with a grand prize of 4 tickets to see our World Champion St. Louis Cardinals.  The child who guesses the correct number of bristles on Delta Dental Theatre's giant toothbrush will be the lucky winner.

The show is open to everyone and admission is free.  Delta Dental Theatre is so overbooked that schools are only getting the opportunity to schedule shows every other year.  Take advantage of this fun, free show at the St. Louis Science Center in celebration of National Children's Dental Health Month and help your kids learn healthy habits while they're young.
