2010 St. Louis Rams Draft Class Due to the size of the contract it is likely going to take to get the first overall pick signed to a deal, team with the first overall pick are generally locked into taking an impact rookie. More times that not that means that they will select a QB first overall and 2010 marked the second straight year a QB was taken first overall. |

Sale of St. Louis Rams gets interesting So long Shahid Khan and hello Stan Kroenke, well sort of. Kroenke owns 40% of the St. Louis Rams and had a contract clause for right of first refusal to refuse the sale of the other 60% of the team held by members of the Rosenbloom family. He has invoked that clause, and made this sale a real mess. |

Draft Day decision makers: St. Louis Rams St. Louis Rams General Manger Billy Devaney will run the 2010 draft for the team. This will be his second draft where he ran the show. That is a lot different from how the Rams use to run their drafts, where generally speaking since their days in Los Angeles they allowed their head coach to make the final decision on draft day. |

2009 NFL Draft one year later: St. Louis Rams It seems that the St. Louis Rams were well on their way to having a great draft. Just months after the NFL draft I gave them high marks for their first two picks. If not for the potential in this draft class, and the season ending injury to two of the keys draft picks we could very well say this draft was a failure. However given all those facts let us give it a one year grade of incomplete. |

Fix the franchise: St. Louis Rams edition The Rams need new owners, since that is going to happen we can leave that one alone. However, the new regime will need a direction, and at the moment there is no direction for this entire franchise. I would fire teh entire coaching staff and start anew. This group has already proved they are incapable of this job, and I am not sold on any of them long term. It is a bad mix, bad players, with over matched coaches. Since they are not the answer long term, they should be shown to the door sooner rather than later. |

Chip Rosenbloom and his sister, Lucia Rodriguez have found a buyer for their 60% stake in the St. Louis Rams. Illinois businessman Sahid Khan has entered into an agreement to purchase their stake in the team. Now things get a little interesting. |

St. Louis Rams have three potential buyers Thanks to our friends at profootballtalk.com we have learned that the St. Louis Rams have three groups who could become the new owners of the team. Two of these groups are based in St. Louis, a good sign that the team could remain there, and the third is believed to be interested in the team to relocate it to Toronto, Canada. |

The price of the St. Louis Rams continues to drop Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez inherited the St. Louis Rams when the mother died in 2008. They also inherited Stan Kroenke as a co-owner who happens to own 40% of the team. Now, as they try to sell the team the confusing nature of the ownership group continues to drop the asking price for the team. |

Steven Jackson accused of assault I need to start this off by saying if this is true; Steven Jackson needs to be suspended from the NFL for a significant amount of time. I define significant as much more than the 16 game regular season. Players need to start to understand 1) playing in the NFL is not a right it is a privilege and 2) no one is guaranteed the right to work anywhere. For example being somewhat in the public eye, if I beat the crap out of my wife it is very likely several of the organizations I work for would not want to employ me any longer. |

NFL Rumors: St. Louis Rams interested in Vick This gets a little complicated but the basic idea here is the Philadelphia Eagles have three QB on their roster, Donovan McNabb who will make five million dollars in 2010 and is due a roster bonus of 6.2 million on May 5th. They also have Michael Vick who will make 3.75 million in 2010 and is due a roster bonus of 1.5 million on March 5th. They also have Kevin Kolb, who is reportedly loved by his teammates and may be ready to take over the Eagles starting job. |

The St. Lous Rams are going to draft a QB There is a universal rule that should guide all, bad football teams make bad football decisions. The proof of that the team that had the top three picks in the 2009 have top five picks in the 2010 NFL draft. The St. Louis Rams and the Detroit Lions have had the top two picks in the last two years, at the Rams have been among the top two pickers in the draft since 2008. Now everyone is saying there is no way they can pass up phenom DT Ndamukong Suh, well I hate to break it to ya, because they are going to. |

2009 NFL season in review: St. Louis Rams What can we say about a team that went 1-15, worse than that their one win came versus the Detroit Lions so does it even count? This is a team with so much work to do; it boggles the mind on how to get it done. They had the worst offense, the second to worst defense, and there doesn’t seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel. They desperately need, a franchise QB, and even with the first pick in the 2010 NFL draft there doesn’t seem there is a QB prospect in the bunch worthy of such a high draft pick. Sure they may be headed back to Los Angeles under new ownership, but this team is a train wreck. |

What will the St. Louis Rams do with the first overall pick? With only one win in 2009, and one game remaining against the San Francisco 49ers it now seems very likely that the St. Louis Rams will have the first overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. This after having the second overall pick in last year’s draft. |

Browns, Rams both have reason to panic Of the teams that had bad days in week one of the 2009 NFL season the Cleveland Browns, and St. Louis Rams have the biggest cause for concern. While both of these teams lost, they actually proved how bad they actually are. It will be between these two teams, and the Detroit Lions in a race towards the worst NFL record and 2010 number one overall draft pick. |

2009 St. Louis Rams Draft analysis In 2008 the St. Louis Rams entered another phase of their rebuilding efforts. After finishing 2-14 in last place in their division they fired their coaching staff, released long time team mainstays OT Orlando Pace, and WR Terry Holt. While they still have star running back Stephen Jackson is rather apparent he is going to need a lot of help to return this team to the glory of years past. |

The short list of St. Louis Rams potential buyers It is not news that the St. Louis Rams are for sale. However there may be a few developments that cold keep the team in St. Louis, which of course is bad news for Minnesota Vikings fans since a stadium will be built in Los Angeles and some team will take the city up on the offer to have a new stadium. |
