On February 11, 2012, St. Louis area art fans will have a unique opportunity to buy original, one-of-a-kind artwork. Wall Ball, sponsored by the St. Louis City Open Studio and Gallery (SLOSaG), is a party, art exhibit and art auction all rolled into one.
Popular, local St. Louis artists will gather at the Third Degree Glass Factory on Delmar Blvd. to entertain, impress and maybe even entice visiting art fans as they create original art pieces on which fans can bid via silent auction. Each year, this fascinating event draws art lovers from around the area, as visitors are eager to see what kind of artwork will emerge from the artists' imaginations as they are surrounded by interested onlookers.
As the artists work on their creations, visitors can browse the works in progress and also enjoy appetizers, beer and wine. This fun and unique event provides St. Louis area residents with the chance to enjoy a memorable evening with friends and family, purchase, at low prices, artwork for themselves or to give as a gift at their next special occasion.
Wall Ball tickets can be purchased for $30, or $50 if you'd like the VIP upgrade to include unlimited beer and wine. The event will take place from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. on February 11th and tickets can be purchased online. Of all the things to do in St. Louis in 2012, Wall Ball will be one of the most memorable events of the year.
