St. Joseph the Worker, and the sellout of the American worker

If you are disgusted with what is going on in the American workplace, with millions of struggling Americans chronically out of work, or underemployed, with a doctored unemployment number, doctored to make the government look like it is doing its job, with high paying jobs becoming scarcer each day, and government manipulation, aimed at socialism (in the name of fixing 'income inequality'), manipulating social structure through a proposed elevation of the minimum wage, where more and more people are on food stamps, while our national debt keeps stretching the Universe of our imagination, where our economic growth was an anemic .1% last month, where food and gas, insidiously, and deceptively, climb in price, where employees are being forced to subsidize abortifacients and contraception, you are not alone in witnessing the sellout of the American worker.

Work is supposed to dignify the human person, not enslave them.

Let us contrast God's plan with the corrupt human plan:

"Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.' So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:26--2:3

God has created men and women in His image and likeness, 'to know, love, and serve Him,' and to have dominion over the earth in the compassion and Mercy of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Work, therefore, is dignified when the American worker is free to worship their God through their God-given talents, to contribute to a society which respects 'Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.'

This cannot occur when there are no jobs! This cannot occur when the government crushes the top of the American economy, while elevating the bottom to create a socialist-Communist 'level' playing field, thereby destroying free enterprise, free expression of one's God given talents, and freedom of religious conviction--without any obligation to subsidize chemicals which offend God and kill unborn life.

"Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting thou art God. Thou turnest man back to the dust, and sayest, 'Turn back, O children of men!'" Psalm 90:2-4, 12-14, 16

The American worker has a monumental choice before them.

Support Barack, vote for Hillary, and worship the god of government. Work for pleasure and comfort...even if it subsidizes idolatry of government, and genocide of millions of innocent unborn children. Or, better yet, don't work! and relax on the socialist dole, letting everyone else take care of you.

This is one set of alternatives. The other is to vote, and advocate, back toward our Democratic Republic, based on a Constitution, though imperfect, yet still inspired by the best of human intent, graced by God.

"And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, 'A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.' And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief." Matthew 13:54-58

Prophets, some poor, some ignorant, all imperfect, have been shouting from the rooftops, for over 8 years, about the destructive intent of the Obama administration concerning the American worker. But nobody listens.

Yet, we must keep shouting.

Hopefully, someone will turn their ear toward Truth.
